how is your sole?

The 50,000 Pairs in 50 Days Challenge

I love shoes. My closet is full of them.

Once at New Hope I challenged people to leave their shoes on the stage for people in need. Most left bare-footed, and I asked them to feel what it is like to go without a basic need like shoes.

Well, let's talk shoes again.

soles4souls is an amazing charity in Nashville, TN that has one mission: get shoes to people who need shoes. over 300 million people around the world don’t have shoes and are forced to walk around unsafe and in potentially life-threatening conditions. not only is it unsafe physically, but having to look down all the time causes these people to also live without dignity and confidence.

$5 can buy 2 pairs of shoes for kids and other people in need.

Click the pic above and share some of your SOUL for a pair of soles.

Don't click away...just rock it and hear that SOUL WHISPER... "Whatever YOU have done for the least of these...YOU have done for me!" --Jesus

The Sticks Re-Cap

I have a holy hang-over so much I can't even blog. That is bad if you know me.

Hope to be back at it soon, but in the meantime, I need to rest. So I will just say this:

I AM BLOWN AWAY BY THE RESPONSE WE RECEIVED FROM ALL OF YOU.

From our volunteers @ New Hope who were beyond amazing to the speakers who lit a passion like no other to the staff and others who pulled this thing off. Pastors were changed FOREVER, and I am proud that we simply gathered a tribe of people and let Jesus take over. Tanks to all our volunteers for taking off work and all the other headaches you endured to serve the KINGDOM!

I also thank each of you who came to the sticks. I learned so much from you and the spirit that you have resting in you. I wish I could have gotten to meet more of you, but man...that was some fast-paced, intense action.

Some of you all in small towns are taking the kingdom by storm! That inspired me to the CORE. Many of you should have been on the stage...you have so much passion, wisdom and insight it is contagious! Maybe one day...

People were beyond blown away by every aspect of the conference. And not just because I was the host, but dang...it was intense, passionate and fun. The Sticks team really pulled it off. Way to go guys!

I pray that those who couldn't make it or those who want to bring more of their teams will make it to a regional site. That's right...we are taking it on the road with the sticks regional gatherings.

MARCH 17-18 @ BRAND NEW CHURCH hosted by Shannon O'Dell

MAY 12-13 @ REVOLUTION CHURCH hosted by Gary Lamb

Registration will launch soon. Keep checking out the SITE for more details.

One quick story of the many I heard first, second and third hand:

A pastor who has been at it for many years said he was ready to quit. After my session we hugged each other as he said...I'm back in the game. I will not quit.

That alone made it all worth it. Thanks and blessings to ALL of you who came and those who made it happen. It took the whole tribe to make it happen.

See you again as our paths cross or maybe at one of the regionals. Thanks for taking the Kingdom by storm!
